Jonah originally played worship together at St Thomas’ in Chesterfield but decided to form a band after Jonathan started writing his own songs. After a couple of line-up experiments we settled on our current format in the summer of 2000 and set about playing our first gigs in and around Chesterfield. Not wanting to put ourselves in the category of Christian bands, we are simply a rock band that draws on our faith and the Creator for our inspiration. We like heavy drums, even heavier guitars and funky bass and have supported bands such as Kato, Y-Friday and Phatfish as well as playing many outreach events and festivals.

We recorded our first E.P, U, in august 2000 at Free for Good studios in Gloucester and followed that with the Enthroned E.P, recorded at Donut studios in Chesterfield, July 2002.
